OUR LEGACY. OUR FUTURE.

Picture
Happy 50th Anniversary Grass River!
And what a 50 years it's been! There are many things to celebrate at Grass River during this past half century...the preservation of almost 1,500 acres of wetland and upland habitat, being a leader in outdoor education opportunities for our community, and providing quality outdoor recreational opportunities to all who visit, just to name a few. You can read more about some of the amazing people who have contributed to this legacy here.

We are excited to celebrate these and many more successes over 2019 and we hope that you will join us in this celebration. We will be hosting multiple events throughout the year, some old ones being brought back to life and trying out some new ones for the first time. All we can say is that you don't want to miss it!
What Grass River Means To Me:
Lasting memories - learning and exploring the natural world with my children. ~~~ To see the world change through the seasons through a child’s eyes is magical. ~~~ Connectivity - wildlife and people. ~~~ Partnership with other like minded organizations for contiguous and connected green space. ~~~ Rustic boardwalks thru natural areas. ~~~ Grass River Natural Area is a place to be immersed in nature, with wooden boardwalks below, native flora and fauna to the sides and a shading tree canopy above.
We would love to hear from you!
What are some of your favorite memories of Grass River? What do you like to do when you visit? Why do you love Grass River? We want to hear all of your stories so you if you have a little story  to tell of your experiences at Grass River please fill out the form below and tell us about it.
